On Tuesday, August 15 the Hulke Lab took a visit to the CHS sunflower nursery near Grandin, North Dakota. They gave us a tour around the field, showing us a few projects that have been in the works and a few different breeds of sunflowers.
We then visited their sunflower processing facility. We got to see how they aspirate seeds in bulk numbers. They then took us to the rooftop, which is the 3rd tallest building in North Dakota.
