Last week, our PhD student Cloe Pogoda visited our lab up in Fargo, ND. She is being co-advised by Nolan Kane at CU-Boulder and Brent Hulke at our lab. Cloe is pursuing her PhD in the Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) department at Colorado, and is interested in using genomic tools to address a variety of ecological and evolutionary questions in a range of biological systems including sunflower.
Cloe will be helping us with a wide variety of projects, but it was especially nice having her visit our nursery in Glyndon, MN to see the lines she has been working with in a field setting. Check out her on the People page for more information!
